bellingham my beloved college town.
where hippies and collegiates and hippie collegiates roam free. i went up with one purpose:
to help my girlfriend with anything she needed of her recently opened
ultra super cute modern home store DIGS! HOW did I help out? Well, by getting a manicure... DUH. Her friend was having a
salon grand re-opening with mini services for $15 and the monies going towards any AVEDA product purchase! She got her hair trimmed, a massage and eyebrows waxed. I got my nails painted
BARBIE PINK, and drank champagne all before noon... uh oh.. to say the least.
I got called back to the store to help her husband wrap up a solid wood bench since he only has use of one arm. After some dumpster diving for boxes and packing tape wrestling I returned to fish Gretchie out of the sunshine and head to the farmers market to flier for her
Upcoming Ladies Night Out!
Once we were sick of the smell of patchoulie, hehehe, it was time to stop by her shoe store
Left Right Left and of course pick up some new boots for CHEAP. We picked up another bottle of bubbly and returned to the store to give her hubby a break. HARD retail working ensued until in waltzes her friends with a bottle of red vino. Some time after this we may have been kicked out of the store by Ben, since we ended up over at
Paris Texas where I found a cute summer dress to wear with my boots. Than it was off to
The TEMPLE BAR for happy hour ($15 for vino and cheese plates). Some new (myspace) friends were made here and a panini sammich was eaten. We returned back to the store with half the bottle of vino and thought it would be funny to make the customers that Ben had been discussing furniture lines with drink from out of the bottle of vino in a paper bag. They did.
Awesome.
